A New Handcrafted Pendant: Jewellery as Sculpture
Our newest Lapis Lazuli Pendant is not simply an accessory. It is sculpture in miniature — a two-sided design that shifts with you, revealing different stories with every turn. It is wearable art — a study in balance and brilliance, a dialogue between the cosmos and the one who chooses to wear it.
Shaped by hand in our Kilkenny workshop, the design places the lapis centre stage — its ultramarine blue flecked with golden pyrite like stars scattered across the night sky. Set in rich 18ct yellow gold, the piece is fully reversible, revealing two distinct but connected expressions:
- Side One: A clean, bold bezel surrounds the lapis — grounded, powerful, timeless. A single 0.03ct brilliant-cut diamond rests just below the stone, catching the light like a guiding star.
- Side Two: A constellation of hand-pierced stars reveals glimpses of lapis beneath, as if starlight were breaking through metal. A second diamond mirrors the first, bringing continuity and quiet sparkle.
